EGYPT KITE CRUISE
A week on a yacht in the Red Sea
We sail from Hurghada Marina aboard the Bigdayz Kitesafari yacht, around the islands of the northern Red Sea: Tawila, Gey Sum, Ashrafi, Gabal Izeet, Abu Mungar and Gobal Island. Turquoise, flat-water lagoons, steady wind, and around 30 kiters from all over the world on board.
What’s included
- 7 nights in a cabin with ensuite, air conditioning and mini bar
- Transfers between Hurghada airport and the marina
- Full board: breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, water, soft drinks and juices
- Kite sessions from sunrise to sunset
- Spot briefings, theory and a safety clinic

- Beginners welcome: a beginner course is available on board
- Non-kiters welcome: diving, snorkelling, SUP, yoga or just relaxing
- Cabins (2026): lower deck twin €1,500, superior €1,700, mini suite €2,000, master suite €2,200 per person
- Visa: Australians can get an e-Visa online or a visa on arrival
BRAZIL KITE TRIP
Two weeks in the kiting mecca of South America
North-east Brazil’s trade winds blow all day, every day, along 300km of kitable coastline. We road trip by 4×4 between flat-water lagoons and wave spots, with coaching from the Zu team the whole way. Spots include Paracuru, Ilha de Guajiru, Preá, Jericoacoara, Macapá, Guriú and the famous Cumbuco and Taíba lagoons.

- Airport pick-up and drop-off in Fortaleza
- 14 nights’ accommodation at 4 to 5 locations
- 4×4 transport everywhere

- Flights (around AUD$2,800 return from Melbourne)

Good to know
- Level: you need to ride upwind consistently
- Wind: 18 to 25 knots in Cumbuco and Paracuru, 20 to 35 knots further north
- Rooms (2026): shared room from AUD$3,990, private room from AUD$4,990 per person, with early payment
- Visa: Australians currently need a visitor visa for Brazil. Check the Brazilian consulate for current rules.
How booking works
- Register your interest. Email or message us and we’ll send you dates, prices and room options.
- Pay your deposit to secure your spot. For Brazil, the deposit is $1,000. Spots are limited.
- We confirm the trip 90 days before departure, once we have enough riders. Please don’t book flights until then. If the trip doesn’t go ahead, we refund your payments to us in full.
- Pay the balance 60 days before departure. Then pack your bag.
Travel insurance, including cancellation cover, is required for all trips. Full trip terms are provided when you pay your deposit.

Trip FAQs
Are flights included?
No. Book your own flights, but only once we’ve confirmed the trip is going ahead, 90 days before departure.
Can beginners come?
On the Egypt cruise, yes: there’s a beginner course on board. The Brazil trip is for riders who can already ride upwind consistently.
Can non-kiters come?
Yes, on the Egypt cruise there’s plenty to do, from diving and snorkelling to paddleboarding and yoga. For Brazil, get in touch and we’ll talk it through.
Do I need my own gear?
For Brazil, yes: bring your own kite gear in a kite travel bag. For Egypt, you can bring your own (a €50 storage and lagoon service applies) or hire on board.
Do I need travel insurance?
Yes. Travel insurance that covers kitesurfing, medical evacuation and cancellation is required for all trips.
What happens if the trip doesn’t go ahead?
If we don’t have enough riders by 90 days before departure, we’ll cancel the trip and refund your payments to us in full.
